Toronto is welcoming the world for FIFA World Cup 2026™, and the TTC is thrilled to help get fans to the action as they cheer on teams in six matches at Toronto Stadium (at Exhibition Place) and festivities at the FIFA Fan Festival™ Toronto at Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway.

From kickoff to the final whistle, the TTC is here to get you where you need to go, offering enhanced and expanded service on match days to and from Toronto Stadium and FIFA Fan Festival™ Toronto. Additional staff and special events ambassadors will also be stationed at key locations throughout the city, ready and waiting to help get you to where you need to go.

Connecting to the TTC from the airport
From Toronto Pearson Airport:
The 900 Airport Express route provides all-day service between Toronto Pearson Airport and Kipling Station on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth. The following routes also travel to and from the airport:
- 52A Lawrence West
- 300A Bloor-Danforth
- 334A Eglinton
- 352 Lawrence West
- 906 Airport-Humber College Express
- 952 Lawrence West
You can also take the UP Express between Toronto Pearson Airport and Union Station to connect to the streetcar, subway and downtown Toronto.

From Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport:
To Union Station:
509 Harbourfront streetcars operate to Union Station. Walk along Eireann Quay from the mainland terminal to Bathurst Street, to the Bathurst and Queens Quay West stop. Take an eastbound streetcar to Union Station.
To Bathurst Station:
511 Bathurst streetcars operate to Bathurst Station. Walk along Eireann Quay from the mainland terminal, continue on Bathurst Street to Fleet Street, to the Fleet Street at Bathurst Street stop. Take a northbound streetcar to Bathurst Station.

Enhanced and expanded service
TTC will have enhanced and expanded service for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Toronto matches.
Expanded subway service
The TTC will increase service on Line 1 (Yonge-University) and Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) to ensure seamless connections to bus and streetcar routes to take soccer fans to and from Toronto Stadium.
Subway service operates until approximately 1:30 a.m. but will be extended to operate later on the following nights to accommodate multiple events in the city:
- Wednesday, June 17
- Tuesday, June 23
- Monday, June 29
- Sunday, July 5
- Monday, July 6
- Saturday, July 11
Overnight service
While the match clock during the tournament stops at 90 minutes, ours doesn’t. The TTC operates 24/7 and will keep you moving from the big game and beyond.
The TTC’s Blue Night Network provides overnight bus and streetcar service throughout the city, every 30 minutes or better. Most overnight streetcar routes operate every 20 minutes or better.
Enhanced service
There will be enhanced service on the following bus and streetcar routes:
Bus:
- 29 Dufferin and 929 Dufferin Express from Dufferin Station on Line 2 to Dufferin Gate Loop. Buses will operate in dedicated rapid transit lanes to ensure buses can move seamlessly.
- On match days, 829 Dufferin Gate Express buses will provide non-stop service between Dufferin Station to Dufferin Gate Loop.
Streetcar:
504 King, 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcar routes will operate every five minutes, all day. Signal priority will be enhanced on the 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina routes, and streetcars along the 511 Bathurst route will operate in dedicated rapid transit lanes.

Taking the TTC to Toronto Stadium and FIFA Fan Festival™
From Line 1 (Yonge-University) exit at Union Station and take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Fleet Hub (Fleet Street between Strachan Avenue and Fort York Boulevard).
From Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth): exit at Bathurst Station and take the 511 Bathurst streetcar to Fleet Hub for FIFA Fan Festival™ and Toronto Stadium. Customers travelling to Toronto Stadium can also exit at Dufferin Station and take a 29 Dufferin or 929 Dufferin Express bus to Dufferin Gate Loop on match days.
- Customers planning on taking a 504 King streetcar can access one from the following stations:
- Line 1 (Yonge-University) - St Andrew and King stations (along King Street)
- Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) - Dundas West and Broadview stations (inside the station) 504 King customers can exit at King Street West and Bathurst Street and transfer to a southbound 511 Bathurst streetcar to Fleet Hub.

Accessible Wheel-Trans service
On demand Wheel-Trans service will be available throughout the tournament. Trips can be prebooked up to seven days in advance.
Visitors to Toronto with access to a specialized transit service in their home province, territory or country can access the TTC Wheel-Trans Service for up to 30 days without having to apply to Wheel-Trans. Learn more on the Visitors to Toronto page.

TTC parking lots
Commuter parking is available at the following TTC stations. Parking is $2 after 3 p.m. on weekdays and free on weekends and holidays at most lots, making it a great option to avoid the hassles of driving and parking downtown!

Paying a fare and Proof-of-Payment
Quick tips:
- An Interac® Debit card or credit card are the fastest ways to pay.
- Each person over the age of 12 will be required to tap a separate card to pay a fare.
Other ways to pay
PRESTO card
- Customers can load a PRESTO card to a mobile device for free, or a physical card can be purchased for $4 from a Fare Vending Machine at a subway station, at an LRT stop along Lines 5 and 6, or from a PRESTO Customer Service Outlet, such as Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaws. The cards can be loaded with money for pay-as-you-go travel.
- A PRESTO card makes sense for customers who may require a specific fare type, such as youth or senior. Cards but be reset the from adult setting to be able to deduct a youth or senior fare. This can be done by taking government issued photo identification to a PRESTO Customer Service Outlet, such as Shoppers Drug Mart, or Loblaws.
PRESTO Tickets
- Single-ride, two-ride and day pass tickets can be purchased from Fare Vending Machines at subway stations or stops along Lines 5 and 6, as well as at Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaws, using cash, credit or debit cards. These tickets can also be purchased in advance from Fare Vending Machines and are activated only when used.
- Each person over the age of 12 is required to have their own ticket or day pass.
How to pay:
- Tap an Interac® Debit card, credit card, PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket, or PRESTO in Mobile Wallet card before you enter a fare gate or board a vehicle on the street. A two-hour transfer will automatically be loaded to your card or device.
- Tap each time you transfer from the subway, streetcar or bus. As long as you are within two-hours from your first tap you won’t be charged another fare.
- Local transit is free when you transfer between the TTC and GO Transit. Tap on and off with the same payment method when you finish your trip on GO Transit or UP Express. Your tapped card is your Proof‑of‑Payment and must be carried at all times. Be prepared to show it at any point during your journey.

Safety tips while travelling on the TTC
The TTC is committed to ensuring everyone has a safe experience on the system. The TTC works closely with the City of Toronto, Toronto Police Service, Toronto Public Health and community agencies to enhance supports and ensure help is there when needed.
On match days, the TTC will have added security personnel and increased deployment of Special Constables and Provincial Offences Officers, as well as support from Toronto Police and EMS.
Customers who require support at any time on the system can:
Download the SafeTTC app for free from the Apple App or Google Play stores and use it to report an incident, or dial 911 on a cellphone at any time.

Speak to the following TTC employees:
At a station:
- Speak to the station Customer Service Agent or a TTC employee.
- Use the Passenger Assistance Intercom at the entrance or at the Designated Waiting Area on the platform.

On a bus/streetcar:
- Speak to the Operator on a bus.

- Push the intercom to speak the Operator on a streetcar, or use the emergency alarm.
On a subway:
In the event of a medical emergency that requires police, fire or ambulance, push the yellow strip above the window on a subway train. The train will travel into the station, and an Operator will come to assist.

TTC staff, including Special Constables, will be available throughout the system and in key locations in the downtown core to assist at any time.
